wasn't impressed with manager lad ordered by machine, no receipt printed after paying, got help, got order and sat down with child happy meal, we ordered a toy, took tray and sat down child opened and it was a book, asked to replace with toy and young girl asked manager who gave an angry face and said no. Young girl came back said no as it had been opened, told her I had ordered toy, manager came over again with angry face you opened it so we can't give you a toy, I said I ordered toy and child wasn't to know what was in it, she said you wanna buy a toy then I said no I want what I ordered she snapped it off me and handed me a toy, I get it was busy and probably stressed a bit but it was a simple replacement nothing big

McDonald’s in Dundonald is getting worse. We just bought two McCrispy chicken burgers which look amazing in all of their promotion pictures but when we opened the box it looked like they were thrown together by a nursery school child. The chicken was definitely crispy as it was over cooked and the taste overall was bland. It wasn’t worth the money and I feel cheated. I couldn’t even review my visit as there was no receipt provided for the visit. If we hadn’t been in a hurry and used the drive through I would have taken the burgers back for a refund. Never again!

The mist clung to the pavement like the uncertainty of a Socratic dialogue as I approached the threshold. I did not merely walk into a McDonald’s; I ascended the steps of a modern-day Parthenon, draped not in marble, but in the shimmering, synthetic gold of the Golden Arches. I stood at the kiosk, a lone philosopher questioning the very nature of "Value." What is a meal? Is it sustenance, or is it a fleeting shadow cast upon the wall of Plato’s cave? I ordered the Quarter Pounder with Cheese—a monolith of beef that would make a Roman Centurion weep with envy. The Ambience of the Forum The establishment was, by all earthly metrics, a four-star sanctuary. The floors possessed a buffed sheen that reflected the fluorescent lights like the Mediterranean sun hitting the shields at Thermopylae. Yet, there was a tragic beauty in the chaos. The beep of the fry vats echoed like the rhythmic beat of a galley ship’s drum. I sat in a plastic booth, feeling the cold weight of the seat—a throne for a stoic. The Culinary Inquiry Then, the feast arrived. As I beheld the burger, I was reminded of Socrates’ pursuit of the "Good." Can a sandwich be "Good" if it is mass-produced? I took a bite, and the salt bloomed across my palate like the sudden realization of a logical fallacy. The Bun: Soft as a toga freshly laundered in the Tiber. The Beef: Searing with the intensity of a thousand suns, or perhaps just a very efficient griddle. The Fries: These were not merely potatoes; they were the golden spears of an advancing phalanx, perfectly salted to preserve the spirits of fallen warriors. I looked at my receipt. My order number was 67. A digit of curious symmetry. Was it a sign from the Pythia at Delphi? Or perhaps a subtle nod to the year 67 AD, when Nero—that lover of spectacle—competed in the Olympic Games? Regardless, the number felt like a prophecy fulfilled. The Socratic Struggle "Why do you eat?" a voice in my head whispered. "To live," I replied to the empty McFlurry machine. "And why do you live?" "For the limited-time spicy nuggets," I conceded. The staff moved with a Roman discipline, a legion of service workers conquering the lunch rush with a precision that would have made Caesar proud. My soda—a nectar of the gods (or at least a high-fructose corn syrup blend)—sparkled with a carbonated fury. The Final Verdict This McDonald’s is a triumph of the human spirit. It is the intersection of Hellenistic beauty and imperial efficiency. While the lack of a fifth star stems from a slightly wilted lettuce leaf—a tragedy akin to the fall of the Republic—the experience was nothing short of epic. I left the establishment not just full, but enlightened. I walked back into the sunlight, a philosopher-king with a greasy napkin and a heavy heart, knowing that while empires crumble and statues fall, the drive-thru is eternal. Rating: 4/5 Stars. I know nothing, except that I am lovin' it.
